The original Wonder Women Undies were purchased on the 14th day of a 12 day holiday. We were stranded in Bali, awaiting volcanic ash to settle in the sky and planes to begin flying.Now, an extended holiday may sound great, but as a single parent with three kids has it's limits and I'd reached mine!
I saw them in Top Shop - they beaconed me, I imagined them as a personal symbol of triumph, to be worn on the journey home.
I had survived - and god damn, I had the undies to prove it!
We only had to wait a couple more days - there is no place like home, and no bed like your own bed!
Since then, they have had many outings. Selected on days when some little extra courage is required!
